Each of the courses below fulfills the First-Year Integration Core requirement, and most fulfill at least one other core area (see individual course listings for details).

All LLC Collaborate courses will have an LLC Hour attached to the course from 7 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays.

Collaborate - The Home of Maher Hall Residents & First-Year Commuter Students

Collaborate students will be housed in Maher Hall, additionally all first-year commuter students will be part of this theme! This residence hall is located on main campus, where residents can appreciate a short walk to class. Aromas Cafeé is located on the first floor of the building, giving students easy access to a wide range of snacks, meals, and specialty coffees and teas. Coed by wing, all Maher rooms have private baths and accommodate double room housing for residents. Maher accommodates double, triple, and quad rooms.

The Commuter Commons, the on campus "home" for commuter students, is also just a stone’s throw away from Maher Hall. Additionally, Maher Hall has a 5th floor lounge where commuter Collaborate students can join their residential peers and hang out in the residence hall.

Collaborate is a community where you are encouraged to be yourself, build genuine connections, and support those around you. Here, different perspectives are valued, everyone has the opportunity to grow, and meaningful friendships are formed along the way. Whether you’re looking for a place to get involved, find support, or make a positive impact, Collaborate offers a welcoming community that helps you thrive both during your time at USD and beyond.
